My PLANS

If elected, this will not be the last time you see or hear from me. I plan to have monthly meetings so that we can all get together and speak about what is happening at Cherokee Nation so that I can hear your concerns and you can also be a voice to help find solutions for our community. 

I will be a strong Cherokee voice for those who have been ignored. I’ve heard too many stories about people being heard, but being looked over or they’ve been told that their needs weren’t necessary.

I believe that accountability and transparency are very important. How can we grow as a tribe when everyone isn’t involved and only some know what is going on? This is OUR tribe. We need to run it with everyone in mind. We can do better.

I plan to ask the hard questions and question the answers I’m given if necessary. It is then and only then that we can get the most accurate explanations. 

I’m passionate about our people. I’m passionate about family values, our heritage and our traditions and keeping them alive. These are things that a lot of people forget about. There are so many things our tribe must do, I understand. But that doesn’t mean we forget about who we are and where we came from.
